Jenny and Matt’s happiness is infectious. We were so thrilled to be a part of their wedding day, and couldn’t be happier as to how it turned out. For an October wedding, you truly couldn’t have asked for better weather. Guests were greeted on the rooftop with sunny skies and sweeping views of downtown St. Paul for their ceremony.

The pair’s stunning event was full of stylish details and timeless beauty. From their stunning flowers, twinkling candles, and bold colors, their glamorous and fun reception stole our hearts.

At A’BULAE, we are all about the personal touches, and creating an event that is completely tailored to the couple’s personalities and style. From the lighting to the customized monogrammed LCD screen throughout the ballroom, Jenny and Matt’s reception was a perfect reflection of them as a couple.

Rumor has it that rain on your wedding day brings good luck. Well, we would have to agree. We were lucky enough to be a part of Kate and Andrew’s gorgeous reception that fell on a rainy afternoon. However, you wouldn’t be able to tell by their photos! One of the greatest things about A’BULAE is its natural lighting. With floor-to-ceiling windows lining the entire ballroom, even the rainiest of days can feel warm and bright.

The wedding party began their day by relaxing and getting ready in our bride and groom’s suites. Many of our brides are drawn to the our suite as it has more than enough room and vanity space for the entire bridal party as well as family members—this was no exception for Kate and her 7 bridesmaids.

The couple’s reception was filled with dancing, live music played on our grand piano, delicious food by our on-site caterer, Mintahoe, and plenty of laugher and love—it was truly a day to remember!

Danielle and TJ’s stunning September wedding will always be one of our favorites.

From their unique timeline, modern touches, and romantic color pallet, A’BULAE was the perfect backdrop for their simply chic wedding day. Their guests arrived to social hour before the rooftop ceremony, where Danielle dawned a gorgeous floor length black gown. Well appointed LCDs throughout the bar and lounge directed them through the evening, making the transition from the social hour, ceremony, to the reception seamless.

The pair decorated their reception beautifully with an abundance of fresh flowers and silver centerpieces that complimented our crystal chiavari chairs and chandeliers. The theme continued into the event lighting, where the ballroom sparkled in a pink hue.

For an added surprise, A’BULAE coordinated the couple’s engagement photo and best wishes to display at the Saints stadium across the street viewable from the ballroom for all guests to see.

Nadia and Sebastian’s wedding was a beautiful balance classic details and personal touches. The bridesmaid’s floor length black gowns and the groomsmen’s gray tuxes created a more formal, traditional look, but it was the little details that paid homage to Nadia’s Brazilian roots that stood out to us. Placed in the entry way was a large table covered in packets of Brazilian coffee beans that guests could take home at the end of the night (perhaps to wake them up the next morning after a fun night of dancing at A’BULAE?).

Starting off as a fairly cloudy morning, the clouds seemed to part in sync with Nadia walking down the aisle and made for the most perfect, sunny, ceremony on our rooftop. We had an incredible time with Nadia, Sebastian and their entire wedding party. Their day was filled with glamour, fun, and most of all love between the two of them and surrounding them by all their family and friends.

Briana and Jake’s wedding day was one that we will definitely not forget. Not only are they the sweetest couple, but their stunning details were more than memorable. From the giant balloons, candy bar (because why not?), and bold use of color, their ceremony and reception at A’BULAE was whimsical and beautiful.

The gorgeous natural lighting streaming through our floor-to-ceiling windows in the ballroom provided the perfect location for their colorful and bright reception. Tables were covered in vibrant pink peony centerpieces and signs were draped over the bride and groom’s crystal chairs reading “I’m her Mr.” and “I’m his Mrs.”. For additional touch, a slideshow of photographs of the Briana and Jake was played on the LCD screens placed around the ballroom during dinner.

As the sun went down, the ballroom remained vivacious. To keep with their theme, the lighting was turned to a pink and turquoise hue that lit up the pearl dance floor and kept guests on their feet all night long!

We absolutely loved working with Ali and Johnny. Upon meeting these two, we knew that their wedding was going to be such a fun and joyous day. We enjoyed all their unique details (like the entire bridal party wearing white!), and their use of our technology to keep their guests engaged and entertained all night long. #JaliLove

Keeping the ballrooms’ clean and bright design the focal point, the pair chose to keep their décor and florals in all creams, whites, and greenery. Ali and Johnny’s chic details complimented the space perfectly and created the most elegant environment for their special day that we were lucky enough to be a part of.

Kristie and Mike’s June wedding will have you smitten with summer in Minnesota. From their picturesque afternoon ceremony on the rooftop to deep red and pink florals and abundance of greenery, the pair incorporated every detail that makes for a perfect summer event. To add a little flair to their reception, the pair chose unique damask linen for their head table that complimented our complimentary white tablecloths for their guest tables.

The exposed wood beam and crystal chandeliers act as a captivating backdrop for an unforgettable celebration. Whether you’re planning a smaller occasion or a reception up to 500 guests, A’BULAE provides the wide-open space for dancing the night away—which Kristie, Mike and all their guests definitely did!
